For the first time in 10 years the official delegation of Moldavian Tennis Federation, legally registered with the Ministry of Justice, participated in the event. One of the main issues on the agenda of the Assembly was re-election of Tennis Europe President and Members of the Board of Management. Jacques Dupré was unanimously elected President of Tennis Europe for a second term, and 7 of the 8 Board members were re-elected and are invited to continue their activity in Tennis Europe for the period from 2011 to 2014. A real success for the Netherlands has been a shift from “B” to “A” Nation Status.
An enjoyable moment of course was awarding of the best players upon year-end results, at the closing of official part of the Assembly.
Issues of transition the nation from one status to a higher one and the awarding best players from the other countries gives MTF extra motivation and desire to follow their example and develop tennis in our country at a higher level, so that in the near future to have the opportunity to be on the Conference’s agenda for the same issues.
